Inner Peace Yin Yoga - Saturday Class
Description
Unplug and unwind in a candlelit room to the fluid, instrumental sounds of flutes, temple bells and quiet chants with Inner Peace Yin. This gentle, relaxing form of yoga targets the connective tissues of the body and the fascia that covers the body. The passive postures are practiced mainly on the floor, and held for longer periods of time to allow relaxation in the posture. Practicing Yin yoga helps soften the muscle and move closer to the bone for deep stretching.
Participants should wear comfortable, breathable clothing and bring a yoga mat or a blanket (yoga mat preferred). Blankets and any other “creature comforts” for modifications and/or savasana (final resting pose) are also welcome.
