PEACEFUL MOON YOGA CLASSES TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED

In the spirit of Ahimsa (compassionate non-harming and non-violence to all living beings), Peaceful Moon Yoga is temporarily closing its studio and suspending classes in light of the ever-changing situation surrounding COVID-19. It is our hope and intention to keep the beloved PMY tribe healthy and safe, and to do what we can to lessen the impact of this novel virus on the community. This was a difficult decision to make, as physical activity, mindful movement and meditation are important components for overall good health. I encourage you to continue to practice at home, and to take a few moments each day away from the headlines to clear the mind and practice gratitude for all the gifts we do have. Classes will resume as soon as possible, look for updates on the website and in your email inbox. As always, feel free to call/text 586-255-1275 for updates, information or just plain encouragement. Together we will move through this and resume our practice as soon as it's healthy and safe for all. Take good care of yourself. Namaste.

Catherine ‘Cat’ Minolli was introduced to Hatha yoga in the 1990s, with her first teacher lighting the spark for a lifelong love affair with the discipline. She was introduced to hot yoga in 2010. The love affair deepened.
A certified, registered yoga instructor, Catherine received expert training in Ashtanga, Slow Flow, Vinyasa, Yin, Venus and Hatha through Porsche Fischer’s Functional Yoga Academy at Clarkston Hot Yoga. Catherine—frequently called ‘Cat’—believes in sharing the mind, body, spirit connection of yoga to facilitate peace of mind and happiness while improving strength, flexibility and balance. She is listed on the Yoga Alliance registry.
A poet at heart and writer by trade, Cat designed the Peaceful Moon Yoga practice so that students leave class feeling stronger, lighter, and more balanced and uplifted in body, mind and spirit.
